CASE the Cat!

CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything!  What fun, all you have to do is pick one of the design team's cards and share your take on it.   We don't expect you to recreate our projects, but we would love to see how we inspire you.

Plus, did you notice the challenge #???   300!!!  As this is the 300th challenge, the prize is even bigger!   Play along and you could win a $20 gift certificate to the TCP store and if you use TCP products on your card you may just win a $25 gift certificate.

TCP Ingredients:  Flying By stamp set | He Said She Said die (free with a $65 purchase!)

I used one of the He Said She Said speech dies and placed it at the very top to work as a cloud.  I stamped the sentiment and then added a few enamel dots.  The plane was stamped directly on the white panel and I fussy cut out the wings and propeller.  The propeller is popped up with foam dots to give dimension. CAF - clean and fun!

Go check out the TCP blog and decide which designer you want to CASE!  Play along and you may just win a gift certificate (aka Cat Cash) to TCP store.

CAS Apple Tree

This week's SCS CAS Challenge is a theme - Apples!   I went with a tree and added some apples to create a fall card.

Ingredients:   PTI stamps and YNS Stitched Rectangle dies
Quite a simple layout with lots of cream surrounding the tree.  I hand drew in the grass and added some layers with the embossed rectangles.

Apples are delish, how will you interpret the challenge?

Play Ball!

The Cat's Pajamas hosts a bi-weekly challenge called TCP Tuesday.  I am jumping in towards the end of the second week to remind you about it!   There are still a few days to play, so don't miss out.

So what's the challenge this time around?
Anything Goes!
Easy, right?   Let your creativity run free and who knows what you will create!   Check out all the details on the challenge on the TCP blog here.   You have until 9/28 to play along.

I decided to go with CAS and the stamp set Go! Fight! Win! to create a "winning" creation.   This week's SCS CAS challenge (CAS343) is Football Season and this stamp set seems like it was made for the challenge!

TCP Ingredients: Go! Fight! Win! stamp set|  County Fair die set

Go!  Color!  Create!

YNS September Feature Day - School Rules

This month's Your Next Stamp Feature Day is a theme - school is cool.   For your chance to win a YNS stamp set of your choice head on over to the YNS blog and leave a comment on the Feature Day post.

I combined a couple of stamp sets and used sketch 235 from Try Stampin' On Tuesday to come up with this...
YNS Supplies: Smarty Pants (Sentiment and ruler) | Spiffy Cool | Back to School Die Set (Notebook edge)

Not over the top school related, but this will make a great card when someone does good work at school!

Have a great week!

Super Excited...I am Joining THE Cat Pack!

Sooooo excited to share with everyone that I am joining The Cat's Pajamas Cat Pack!!!

What does that mean???   You are going to be seeing more cats, penguins and bunnies on my blog, plus tons of other happy stamps!
Happy stamps that make me smile are my fave, so when Alma, the owner of TCP, asked if I would like to join the design team my immediate response was YES!

If you are not familiar with The Cat's Pajamas store, then head on over and check out all the stamps and dies (aka Cut Ups).   There are tons of whimsical animals and also more serious stamps to be found.   TCP stamps are perfect for coloring and creating FUN projects.

Here are a couple of the cards I made over the past month with TCP stamps...

Features TCP Away We Go stamp set

Huge thanks to Alma for asking me to join the Pack!   I am looking forward to all the fun paper crafting the future holds with everyone else in the Cat Pack!

CAS Sports

Normally, CAS and Sports do not go together, but over on SCS this week we are making it happen with a CAS sports challenge!

The football season started and Kathy is challenging us to create a football or other sports themed card.   My stamp supply is limited when it comes to sports, especially football (although that is about to change - see my second post today).   Needless to say, I went with Baseball and kept the layout simple with a "ball" aka circle cut out!

YNS Baseball Boy (retired), Number die from PTI and Circle die from YNS

Have a ball and play along with the CAS team on SCS!!!

YNS Challenge #23

I am late for posting my own card for Your Next Stamp's 23rd challenge.   A busy week and posting completely slipped my mind!

I went with the colors for this one and came up with a Halloween card...

Back to School Die Set | Fishtail/Banner die set one | Circles Die Set | Fang-tastic Halloween | Scribbled Alphabet

Which will you choose?

Play along over on the YNS Blog!

CAS Pumpkins

Clean and simple is a great way to start the week.   I would love it if my entire week (work and home) were clean and simple!
This week's Splitcoast Stampers CAS challenge is all about pumpkins - CAS342!   Spooky or classic, any type will do.

I went with a trio of pumpkins on my card...
Ingredients:   Your Next Stamp Halloween Pumpkins stamp set and dies, sentiment from Verve Bountiful Harvest, and Your Next Stamp Stitched Strip dies

Join in the fun over at SCS!

The latest Cat's Pajamas challenge is anything goes - ahhhh, creative freedom!
So what direction did I take?   I would answer CAS, but that is only half true.  There is a clean layout on my card, but with a bit of paper piecing on the bed it does not qualify as simple.   I guess I need to stick with CAC - Clean and Cute!
Ingredients:   TCP You Sick Thing, YNS Stitched Square Dies, Patterned Paper Fancy Pants Park Bench (This pad combined 2 of my favorite are going to be seeing a lot more from me with yellow and teal!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Smiles, Julie
